Who runs the fundraiser
The fundraiser is organised by the parents of Sasha Chigrinets through the Israeli non-profit Latet Besimha. Donations arrive in the non-profit's official bank account.
Hadassah Medical Center treats Sasha and issues invoices for that treatment. The hospital does not organise the fundraiser, does not accept donations through this site and is not responsible for its content.
Purpose of donations
Funds raised are used to pay the invoices issued by Hadassah for the treatment of Sasha Chigrinets.
If more than the required amount is raised, the remainder goes to later stages of treatment and to Sasha's rehabilitation, in line with the purpose of the fundraiser and the non-profit's rules. If treatment ends earlier or the medical plan changes, the remaining funds are used for Sasha's rehabilitation, and where that is not possible, for the non-profit's statutory purposes by decision of its board.
A donation is voluntary and as a rule non-refundable. For a payment made in error, please contact the non-profit.
Payment
Payments are handled by an external payment provider or made by bank transfer using the details published on the site. The site stores no card data.
The payment provider may charge a processing fee; its size depends on the payment method and currency.
Tax receipt
Latet Besimha is registered in Israel and recognised under Section 46 of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance. Please check with the non-profit how and when a receipt is issued.
Medical information
Information about the diagnosis, the course of treatment and its prospects is given as described by the parents and based on documents issued by the hospital. It is published to inform donors and is not medical advice, a guarantee of outcome or an official medical opinion.
Rights in the materials
Photographs and video were provided by the Chigrinets family and are used with their permission. The medical documents belong to Hadassah and the family; they are published to confirm the amounts being raised.
Copying material from this site for purposes unrelated to supporting this fundraiser requires the written consent of the non-profit.
Changes
These terms may be updated once the payment provider is connected and as new information about the treatment arrives. The current version is always published on this page.
