Personal data protection
This section supplements the privacy policy and describes how the Latet Besimha non-profit handles the personal data of donors and of the family.
Data controller
The data controller is the Latet Besimha non-profit, registered in Israel. Contact details are published under "Bank details" on the home page.
Grounds for processing
Donor data is processed in order to carry out the donation, issue a receipt and meet the non-profit's bookkeeping and reporting duties towards the Israeli Registrar of Non-Profits and the tax authorities.
Data about the family and the child is processed on the basis of the legal guardians' consent.
Retention
Accounting records, including donation data, are kept for the period required by Israeli law for the reporting records of non-profit organisations.
Sharing with third parties
Data is not sold and is not shared for marketing. It may be passed only to the payment provider and the bank, to the extent needed to carry out the payment, and to state authorities where the law requires it.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Card details are never sent to the site: they are collected by the payment provider.
Enquiries
Requests to access, correct or delete data can be sent by phone or email to the non-profit as listed on the home page. A reply is given within a reasonable time.
