Accessibility statement
The Latet Besimha non-profit works to keep this site usable for people with disabilities, including older visitors and people using assistive technology.
What has been done
The site is built with semantic HTML: headings follow a proper order, images carry text descriptions, and buttons and fields have accessible names.
The whole site can be operated from the keyboard: controls are reachable with Tab and the active element has a visible focus ring. The photo and document viewer closes with Escape, focus stays inside the dialog while it is open and returns to the trigger afterwards.
Body text is set at no less than 16 pixels and text contrast meets WCAG 2.1 level AA. The page works correctly at up to 200% browser zoom.
If the operating system requests reduced motion, animations are switched off.
The site is built for mobile: controls are large enough for touch and there is no horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
Scanned medical documents are published as images, so screen readers cannot read the text inside them. All amounts and payment purposes from those documents are repeated as plain text under "Where every shekel goes".
The video is published without subtitles.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you have trouble using the site, please tell us — we will try to fix it and will in any case provide the information you need another way.
Accessibility enquiries are accepted by phone and email as listed under "Bank details" on the home page. Please describe the page where the problem occurred and what the difficulty was.
Legal basis
This statement follows the accessibility requirements applicable to websites in Israel and the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
